Rock Star?
I have tried several times today to write about this but have failed.
I just want to register discomfort.

Silly 2.0, eh? The whole point of Web 2.0 is that we are ALL rock stars, and/or duh. Just as we are all swing votes. "This ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin' around..."

Yeah! Way to go Euan! You're number one!
Or something. All this cheering isn't really my thing. I'm sure you'll treat the result of this poll with all the gravitas it deserves.

The words statistically valid sample come to mind, but I rather like Bill Gates having a minus score

Yep - that's all you needed to say. Glad to see the trusty moral compass is in god working order...

Good working order that is...

Looking through the list, I'm mildly irritated to note that the photo of David Heinemeier Hansson in that list appears to be an uncredited crop of a (not even particularly good) photo I took of him during RailsConf 2006.

Hi,
I'm one of the people who came up with the idea for the list as a bit of harmless fun on Ditto...we'd love more people contributing, and more suggestions for people to include...
@Roo
Some images were sourced from Flickr, and all should be clearly credited to the source. Apologies if this hasn't happened in this case, and I'll make sure it gets changed as soon as possible (Unfortunately I don't have the access to make the change myself, but I know someone that can!).
By way of apology, I'll see if we can also put a link to your blog, if that would make amends somewhat?

Look on the bright side. You can now register your discomfort by smashing up a hotel room. :)

Dan: thanks for sorting out the attribution.
Euan: whatever the final result, you know you're our hero.

Suggest you re-read the chapter on Power Law distribution in 'Here Comes Everybody'.

@Dan I tried not to be disapproving in my post just honest about my feelings!
