BiF Video
The video of my session at the Business Innovation Factory in Providence RI recently is up. I use the royal "I" more than I like and have rapped my own knuckles as penance but there are more background stories about what we did at the BBC than I usually include in my workshops if you are interested.

Something odd is going on: I was enjoying that until about half-way through (in the bit about the chap who went on stage and talked about his personal life to illustrate what the web was like) and it froze and wouldn't proceed any further. So I downloaded the file, only to find that though it claimed to run for over 14 minutes it froze at 4m 38s in and displayed a still picture for the remainder of the file. (I realize this isn't your fault!) Pity, that.

I had a problem with the playback, too. Got about 80% there according to the meter. All good up to that point though. Excellent sound and video quality.

I'm on it - will see what the problem is and report back. Best, Chris

Works OK now - different computer, so not sure whether that's the reason or whether it's been fixed: but worth watching.

After speaking with our web host, we believe the 'freezing' issue is related to a temporary shortage of available bandwidth at the time the user accesses the page. Specifically, the video starts downloading, runs out of bandwidth, and never completes downloading. In all of our tests this morning, simply refreshing the page rectified the problem.
We're investigating alternative video sharing hosts - so far Blip.tv has been highly recommended. If anyone has any suggestions, please do let me know!

@ Christine. Would Kyte.TV be suitable?

Thanks much Alex - I'll take a look at Kyte.
