The great thing about Enterprise 2.0 is how little it matters
Lasting change in organisations happens in spite of fads not because of them. It happens through people changing their behaviours one by one and rarely because they have been shouted at by a guru or a manager.
[No harm intended to Andrew McAffee btw as he, like me, is interested in what is happening and likes writing about it - a very different thing from what the E 2.0 monster is turning into.]

Hi There
Like with many things, too much can be bad. The wonderful world of the internet is great in terms of information distribution and Web 2.0 is equally good. However a small seed at the back of my mind can't help but question if, like you said, the naming of Web2.0 could actually lead to its own demise.
Now that it is a recognised process, it could lead to the swamping affect that the internet has experienced and it may end up being "tagged" in a negative way, causing people to stop using it or start abusing it.
