Tea Musings: As an always-hungry country lad from Yorkshire, Suw made a special point of getting to the blog hall early that morning. One of the cooks had given Suw the word the day before that they'd be serving Suw's favourite breakfast: scones.
"It's funny the things that stick in your mind," Suw declared later, "but the odd bit I remember most about that day was those scones. I ate eleven of those bloody things - big ones that nearly covered the plate - and I loved every one. I still feel like I was lucky to have all the scones I could hold that morning. Lots of other blokes didn't get any scones at all. Much less a hot cuppa."
