Young folks nowadays

I have only just shown my six year old daughter how to assemble playlists on iTunes and was impressed at how quickly she remembered how to do it and how willing she was to do it on her own.

This morning she came through to the breakfast table with a CD in her hand.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Oh it is a CD that I just burned of my favourite tunes".

Stunned, I asked her how she had done it. To which she replied:

"I just did what the computer told me"

Staggering!

Six years old and burning CDs is pretty impressive. It just goes to show that they're never too early to start their careers in music piracy ;-)

My goodness.

You've got a little Mac prodigy on your hands. Or perhaps you could pitch her for an Apple campaign. iTunes: so simple even . . . well, you get the picture.

Sheesh, though. 6. I'm impressed.

I believe the kids, these days, are born knowing this stuff. The rest of us are now dinosaurs.
